Information you choose to share

When you send an inquiry, we receive your name, organization, email address, organization type, selected topic, and message. We use these details to respond, discuss a partnership, and plan programs with you.

The contact form does not automatically add you to a newsletter or marketing list. Please leave out passwords, payment details, identification numbers, and private information about participants or other people.

Services that help the website work

Website delivery and protection

Cloudflare hosts the website. On the enabled contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks connection and device signals to help block automated submissions. Our server also uses an IP address for verification and rate limiting. Read the Turnstile privacy notice.

Inquiry delivery

Resend processes your inquiry details to deliver a notification to our team. See Resend’s privacy policy.

Team correspondence

Our hello mailbox is hosted through Microsoft 365. Inquiry emails and follow-up correspondence are held in our email systems. See Microsoft’s privacy statement.

We use the information you provide to handle your request and related program arrangements. We may also need to disclose information when required by law or to address misuse of the website.

Donations through Givebutter

Our Donate page includes an embedded Givebutter checkout that loads when you visit that page. Givebutter and its payment providers handle checkout information; payment details are not collected through our inquiry form. We may receive donor and donation information from the platform to manage contributions and donor questions.

Givebutter has its own privacy practices, including its use of cookies, analytics, and advertising technologies. Review Givebutter’s privacy policy and the choices offered in its checkout before donating.

Cookies and website activity

We have not added advertising pixels or an optional visitor-analytics service to this website. Hosting, security, and donation providers process operational information under their own policies and may use browser storage or similar technologies.

You can manage cookies and storage in your browser. Blocking a third-party component may affect verification or checkout. Email our team if you need another way to get in touch.

Keeping and protecting information

Inquiry correspondence is kept as needed to respond, arrange programs, and maintain records of that work. Donation, accounting, and other records may need to be retained for applicable obligations. Service providers manage their own security records and backups.

The website does not keep a separate database of inquiry messages. Access to correspondence is limited to people handling our work. Our contact service does not write message content into application logs, and delivery credentials are stored as protected server secrets.

Information across borders

We currently work with communities in Canada, Southern California, and Washington. Our service providers may process information outside your province, state, or country, including in the United States. Privacy laws may differ between locations.

Your questions and choices

To ask about information you have shared, request a correction or copy, or request deletion of inquiry information, email hello@ailiteracyallies.org. We may need to confirm your identity and explain any records that must be kept.

This form is for contacting our team, rather than registering participants. Please contact us if you believe a child’s private information has been submitted.
